Ducks
March was a good month for finding migrating ducks. It was fun for me because most ducks I see are mallards. But this month I was able to find a good variety of ducks.

American White Pelicans
Pelicans are always nice to find. They are usually not as skittish as other birds, so it is easier to get nice photos.
Trumpeter Swans
The number of swans is way down from earlier this year. But there are still a few around.
Iowa State Women's Basketball Photography
I enjoy getting the chance to photograph the basketball games. I have gotten so very nice pictures. It also gives me a chance to learn some new photography skills.
Other Birds
There is a wider variety of birds around now that it is getting warmer. The smaller birds are challenging to get a good photo of because they do not stay still very long, especially when you are pointing something at them.
