Texture and Patterns
On my walks, I often find something that captures my attention. I thought I would select some things that caught my attention and reflect on what made them Interesting to me.
I was visiting my daughter Amy and her family when I noticed their firewood pile. The different colors, patterns, and textures caught my attention. Each piece of wood tells a story of growth through its rings, like fingerprints of a tree's life.
There is a sense of visual satisfaction from the intricate pattern, hinting at human effort in organizing natural elements. Amy assures me there was no organizing of the woodpile.
